Notice how most gun articles use a headline like “gun-toting” to imply something negative?

Inasmuch as criminals and terrorists will never submit to your “safety” classes, why punish the rest of us with such measures? Tired of the govt acting as our babysitter.

By that logic, nobody should have to take a road test to get a driver’s license because illegals will drive cars anyway.

Asking people to pass basic safety classes to ensure they can use an object that is able to kill people (note: I specifically did not say DESIGNED to kill, just ABLE to kill – just like cars can do) is not a bad thing. If you don’t know how to use a safety on a gun or you don’t know that a red light means stop, you should not be able to own a gun or drive a car.

The article said those with “proper license”, so she already had the right and license to carry.
Since the weapon did not discharge when dropped, it would seem that it was in a safe condition to be carried.

Why add extra regulation when it’s not needed?

Hold on to them! Accidents will occasionally happen, no need for further regulation.
