Pennsylvania-Headquartered Cohen & Grigsby Hires Anderson as a Director

Cohen & Grigsby P.C., a law firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, Penn., has hired Roberta D. Anderson as a director.

Anderson’s practice is concentrated on insurance recovery and emerging cybersecurity and data privacy-related issues, including security incident planning and breach response.

She has established a record of representing Fortune 50 companies, financial, healthcare, and educational institutions, early-stage technology companies and other entities in addressing a range of cybersecurity, data privacy and insurance recovery matters.

Anderson also has experience in the selection, drafting, negotiation and placement of cybersecurity and data privacy insurance, directors and officers liability insurance, professional liability insurance and other types of business insurance coverage.

Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, She was a co-founder of the cyber law and cybersecurity practice group at K&L Gates and a member of its insurance coverage practice group.

Anderson graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1994 and received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1998. She serves as co-chair of the ABA Section of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee’s Cyber Risk & Data Privacy Subcommittee and on the ABA’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section’s Cybersecurity Task Force.
