Connecticut legislators should also consider allowing people to get auto insurance as long as they call within 3 hours of an auto accident, because that could help protect families as well. How dare those insurance companies want to put up a fuss about that idea.

Malloy playing “good cop, bad cop” with Looney. Now there’s a first. Usually they are on the same page while they shove their leftwing agenda down our collective throats. This must be a Kabuki act meant for the press so as to make them look busy making the “difficult decisions”, when in fact the script has already been written to force “insurance” on the already burning house.

Looks like a staged act of astonishment by Malloy, who didn’t EXPLICITLY say he’d veto the bill.

Re: the post-pregnancy issue; typically, responsible citizens SAVE MONEY for a FUTURE time when they expect / hope to have children. Such a bill will encourage & enable LACK of RESPONSIBILITY among child-bearing age adults in Connecticut. This is a policy provision similar to ACA-compliant policy forms. Putting lipstick on this piggish provision doesn’t disguise it in any way.
