While texting and driving is extremely dangerous and I’m glad people are trying to figure out how to curb that behavior, I still can’t get behind this technology until someone can sufficiently answer my question:
If I’m driving and I give my phone to my wife in the passenger seat and tell her to text someone on my behalf, then I get into an accident while she’s texting on my device, I would be presumed guilty and would have to prove my innocence, right?
That’s not how this country’s legal system is supposed to work.
