A bunch of CEO’s and General Counsels = a bunch of people who have no idea what’s going on in the trenches between the companies and the DFS bureaucrats….
It has been my experience that people serving on boards without compensation is a rarity. I wonder what is in it for them. Do they get more favorable treatment from the state on regulations etc?

NY would not be in the mess it is in if it were not for these types of “commissions”.
NY is one of the most regulated states in the US and certainly one of the highest taxed states. It comes from Progressive rule.
Gov. Cuomo simply wants to make sure his GTO is insured correctly.
He should be able to get coverage from “Progressive”.
