Rosenblatt, what Agent was referring to was after all the wildfires & landslides in CA, the governor of CA was asking the insurance companies to pay for the landslides because the fires were the cause of them. It’s a PR stunt in CA. That’s why he was stating that if the claim was in CA, the insurance company would be made to pay it.
If this claim was in California, the company would be made to pay.
I don’t think it matters where the policy was written — if there is coverage, the company would be made to pay.
