In other words, the NJ Department is following, lockstep, the NY Department in a politically motivated investigation by Cuomo. You can be assured that if the companies involved were selling “safe space” coverage there wouldn’t be a problem.

But then, I guess NY and NJ deserve the government they voted for.

Affinity business does not require a license. The NRA is perfectly within their right to advise their members of an insurance program that is available to them. This is purely political and stupid. Liberty Mutual does a terrific job for Thousands of University Alumni Associations selling Home, Auto and Umbrella. The Alumni associations earn 1/2 the commission as a program sponsor, and are not licensed. They advertise by Mail.

Since it is all but impossible to get a concealed carry permit in New Jersey, it is unlikely there are any policies in force in the state.

The strangest part is that Cuomo is filing for a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, and only at that point did NJ begin looking into filing a suit?

I did NOT vote for this man.
