This company had zero operating authority. Numerous criminal violations are in order from the Feds and the State of NY. they too have committed negligence in allowing these rogues to operate lawlessly without enforcement and operate freely.
Maybe the media and all regulators will wake up to the livery companies such as Uber and Lyft for example , who also operate without any authority whatsoever. These companies lure the public into their non-compliant vehicles with non-permitted drivers who operate their personal vehicles with no commercial PRIMARY public auto liability insurance. Insurance companies and their agents sell a “phantom” type policy to Uber and Lyft and its drivers that is absolutely BOGUS.
No one can sell a livery policy to a non-compliant operator and vehicle.
Rogue and rideshare operators intentionally deceive the public for financial gain and all regard for the passengers safety and welfare.

Plaintiff attorneys will attack regulatory agencies, state and US governments, Insurance companies, and its agents as well as the rogue operators and their drivers vigorously. I expect a massive rideshare/rogue operator class action suit in the tens of Billions of dollars will be filed by some firm soon. Uber and Lyft certainly have the money to pay.

State AGs and the new US Attorney General better clean it all up quickly and ride the streets and highways of these criminals who refused to comply with the transportation for hire laws. Also, insurance fraud is a felony. Wake up Geico, Farmers, All State, Progressive and others. Immediately cease and desist selling the “rideshare” type insurance to non-permitted companies and drivers.
