The Hilb Group LLC (THG) has acquired Unionville, Conn.-based eBenefits Group Northeast LLC. The transaction became effective April 1, 2019.
eBenefits is a full-service employee benefits firm providing services to businesses, non-profits and municipalities throughout the Northeast.
Following the acquisition, eBenefits will continue to operate out of its current locations in Unionville and Wallingford.
THG is a middle market insurance agency headquartered in Richmond, Va., and is a portfolio company of Boston-based private equity firm, Abry Partners. THG seeks to grow through targeted acquisitions in the middle market insurance brokerage space. The company now has 74 offices in 17 states.
