Most news sources are far-left. Why don’t several of them hire only older, unattractive but talented on-air talent? You know, support the cause!
Because TV news today is just another form of entertainment and people like to look at attractive people. That’s just the truth. This is the industry you chose, folks, and probably most of you did so because you were very attractive when you were young.
I miss the EuroNews from my days in Europe. No “on air personalities.” The news anchors were just voiceovers. No mindless banter between the hosts. Just one story into the next on a continuous loop.
I just have to say that there are numerous women who have aged just as gracefully (or moreso, in my opinion) as the referenced men above; and whom I would continue to support in their TV careers because of intellectual and political savvy, regardless of age. While handsome / lovely to look at, the younger news anchors, both male and female, do not have the depth of balance in their life experiences to help them understand the nuances in the wide range of opinions in their multi-generational listening audiences. Don’t judge by age alone.
