Pennsylvania’s PMA Companies Names Shertenlieb as Vice President of Marketing

PMA Companies has named Tara Shertenlieb as vice president of Marketing.

In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing PMA Companies’ marketing strategies and initiatives including branding, communications, advertising and digital marketing. Shertenlieb reports to Derek Hopper, senior vice president of Shared Services.

PMA’s Marketing Department supports corporate and regional growth objectives, market positioning and broker engagement.

Shertenlieb has more than 20 years of commercial insurance experience. Most recently, she was director of Corporate Communications for RT Specialty. Previously, she served as a marketing director, business development manager and claims service sales manager for AIG for more than a decade.

PMA Companies includes PMA Insurance Group, PMA Management Corp. and PMA Management Corp. of New England. Headquartered in Blue Bell, Penn., it is part of the Old Republic General Insurance Group, and it specializes in workers’ compensation and holistic TPA services.
