Suing isn’t the long term solution. The proper course of action is to impose greater control over the distribution of opioids. One extreme possibility would be for patients to visit clinics for weekly dosages, and nothing larger. Such an approach should only be a short term solution; other legislative action is needed. The courts should be the last resort…. except for recoupment of costs… which will just be passed back to consumers. :(
