Hmmm, this actually sounds like a legit law suit from the limited info in the article. I assume it was a service dog. My humble opinion is that service dogs should not be allowed on flights, but, again, that’s just my opinion. If they are let on and bite someone, well, there’s really no defense.

Seriously? “service dogs should not be allowed on flights” ?

Service animals are trained and legitimately there to help their owner. I fully support the right of a person to bring a service animal on board. I also support a businesses right to require proof it is a trained service animal. Not being allowed to ask just allows the fakers to continue. The owners of legit service animals, that I know, have no problem providing this info. It’s the ones I know who put a vest on their dog with a yellow cross and claim it’s a service animal that will throw their hands up in indignation.

I travel with my dog often. Paperwork of the dog is always required including vaccinations, vet statements and one airline is asking for certificate of training. No excuse for taking a dog on a flight that doesn’t behave well in close proximity to others
