The Central Insurance Companies Promotes Zollner to Northeast Regional VP

The Central Insurance Companies has promoted Matt Zollner to vice president of the Northeast regional office. In his new role, Zollner will be relocating to the Boston area this fall.

He will replace Vice President Jocelyn Pfeifer, who is being promoted to the new role of senior vice president of Underwriting.

Zollner began his career at Central in 2013 as the marketing manager for Arizona. In 2019, he was promoted to the Southwest regional marketing manager position and focused on managing the region’s marketing operation, including the build-out of operations in Nevada, Utah and Idaho.

As Northeast regional vice president, Zollner will be responsible for the strategic perpetuation of the underwriting, marketing and claims functions serving Central’s agency partners in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York.

The Central Mutual Insurance Company was founded in Van Wert, Ohio, in 1876 and has evolved into the Central Insurance Companies, a property and casualty group providing insurance for more than 350,000 automobiles, homes and businesses in 24 states.

Central is based in Van Wert and operates regional offices in Boston, Atlanta, Dallas and Van Wert.
