New York’s NFP Hires Beaudette as Senior Vice President

NFP, a New York, New York-based insurance broker and consultant that provides property/casualty, corporate benefits, retirement and individual solutions, has hired Daniel Beaudette as a senior vice president.

Beaudette will be part of the team focused on growing NFP’s managing general agent (MGA)/managing general underwriter (MGU) programs. He will report to John Mahoney, managing director for the MGA/MGU programs.

In his role at NFP, Beaudette will assist in the oversight and management of nine existing programs, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, carrier and reinsurer relations and business development for the MGA/MGU programs. He will also help develop new programs and products and design and conduct internal audit procedures to support the implementation of industry best practices for current and future MGA/MGU businesses.

Beaudette joins NFP with more than 25 years of industry experience. He was previously with Clear Blue Insurance Group serving as chief underwriting officer, where he implemented and underwrote numerous programs, maintained and reviewed all MGA/MGU opportunities and had additional responsibilities that included the development of formal and auditable due diligence protocols.

His expertise spans across all lines of commercial property/casualty business as well as auditing, statutory compliance, pricing, enterprise risk management (ERM), CAT management, MGA/MGU distribution model development and extensive claims analytics.

He has serviced a variety of industries, including commercial auto, moving and storage, manufacturing, municipal entities, landscapers, staffing, habitational, restaurants, mining, aviation, satellite, small commercial/mercantile and more.
