ebix Receives ISO 9001 Certification for India Call Center & Software Development

ebix.com Inc., an international supplier of software and e-commerce solutions to the property and casualty insurance industry, announced that it has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for both of its call center and software development units in India.

The ISO 9001:2000 certification was given after a detailed audit of the company’s business process outsourcing (BPO) and development units based in India. The ISO 9001:2000 certificate dated July 2, 2003 was given to the company for design, development, maintenance and service of software and IT solutions, providing business process outsourcing and call center services including transaction processing, voice and Web-based CRM.

ISO 9001:2000 specifies requirements for a quality management system for any organization that needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction.
