A major new scientific study concludes the impact of carbon dioxide emissions on worldwide temperatures is largely irrelevant, prompting one veteran meteorologist to quip, “You can go outside and spit and have the same effect as doubling carbon dioxide.”

That comment comes from Reid Bryson, founding chairman of the Department of Meteorology at the University of Wisconsin, who said the temperature of the earth is increasing, but that it’s got nothing to do with what man is doing.

“Of course it’s going up. It has gone up since the early 1800s, before the Industrial Revolution, because we’re coming out of the Little Ice Age, not because we’re putting more carbon dioxide into the air.”

And so on. Read the rest at http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57253.

perhaps we should not only consult our satellite imagery from 1850 when comparing global temps, but also compare all those readings that tell us whether the sun is also hotter or cooler than 1850.

If it’s CO2, where is all that stuff coming from, my tailpipe, a volcano, or the latest eruption of Algore?

Has anyone ever noted how many record temps were set in the 1950’s and 1920’s?

Did Media Or NASA Withhold Climate History Data Changes From The Public?
    By Noel Sheppard | August 9, 2007 – 10:30 ET
A change in climate history data at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies recently occurred which dramatically alters the debate over global warming. Yet, this transpired with no official announcement from GISS head James Hansen, and went unreported until Steve McIntyre of Climate Audit…

Liberals are already bored with it. Conservatives never bought in anyway.
Those with a vested interest (skin in the game) like the UN and Al Bore will continue to ride it to earth. Worry not,
Al will still separate the sheep from their money. Isnt that what it was all about anyway?

um….um…. burrrrrrrrrrrr or ooooh ahhh…. it amazes me is that we as a society have tried to explain things always from a scientif view — GREENHOUSE gases. last i heard that there is no conclusive evidence that man is doing the wrong thing. matter of fact, i bet it’s because this earth is starting to feel the over population of folks and animals, along with the cutting down of the rainforest. i think we forgot that plants are there to help our planet survive and mother nature is telling us so. but earth has been through this cycle before, if you look at the research that has been done from the soil samples and ice samples.

It is urgent time for humanbeing to think about how to control the climate change, otherwise, the nature would show his unique power.

Only one big question… Has mankind ever been able to successfully control mother nature?

If this is a beginning of another heat wave(yes another, there have been many many heat and cold spells thoughout the history of the earth), do you really think that there is something that we can to do stop it?

Even if it was man who started it (and I am not saying it was), I honestly don’t think that there is a think that we can do to stop it.

The first question anthropogenic warming advocates must answer is, “What ended thelast Ice Age?” Until they do, don’t pay attention to a thing they say. If they do (a non-anthropogenic warming trend), don’t pay attention to a thing they say.

I’m going to do my part this year. I’m disconnecting my window a/c unit from my double wide and I’m putting it on the patio and running it full blast all summer long so it cools the outside air and keep the world from getting hotter as fast. If everyone would just point their ac unit outside it would cool the global down. I’m also going to only use half an ice tray this year; when I take cubes out for a drink, I’m putting the rest outside where they will help cool the environment.

I dunno Chad, that would be unnatural and could anger Mr. Nature, according to Yeo.

don’t you think that mother nature might have a say in that also?
