Endurance Management Postings Expand International Operations

Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. announced several new leadership appointments in its international reinsurance operation servicing non-US clients.

Laurent Beauregard has been appointed Senior Account Underwriter in Endurance’s Zurich office to manage accounts in Continental Europe with a focus on the French speaking markets. He has 18 years experience in these markets including several years as a reinsurance broker with AON. His most recent role was Senior Treaty Underwriter with Converium.

Patrizio Amedeo Cassinis has joined Endurance’s Zurich office as a Senior Account Underwriter. He has more than 20 years of experience in treaty underwriting in Europe, and will focus on the Southern European markets. He joins Endurance from Converium where, as Underwriting Manager for Southern Europe, he developed their property and casualty reinsurance portfolio in Italy, Portugal and Spain.

Tim Griffiths has been appointed Senior Underwriter with Endurance in Zurich. He was formerly with Guy Carpenter, and has focused on marine treaty and facultative business across Continental Europe for more than 20 years.

Kevin Quek has joined Endurance’s Singapore branch as a Senior Account Underwriter reporting to Patrick Aeschbacher, Head of Reinsurance for Asia Pacific. Quek has 16 years experience in the Asian reinsurance markets, working for XL Re and Munich Re in Singapore.

Also in Singapore, Endurance said it “looks forward to welcoming Christian Ladoux in December as a Senior Account Underwriter.” He has more than 20 years experience in the reinsurance industry, writing treaty business with a focus on the Japanese market.

Pierre Balthazard will assume the new role of Senior Reinsurance Pricing Actuary for Asia Pacific when he joins Endurance in October. With 13 years experience, he has most recently been in a similar role at XL Re in Singapore. He is an Associate of the Singapore Actuarial Society.

Gareth Christopher, Reinsurance Pricing Actuary in Endurance’s London office will transfer to Zurich to provide actuarial support for the underwriting team in Continental Europe. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Institute of Actuaries.
