BrokersLink Network Expands Number of Specialized Service Providers

BrokersLink, one of the world’s largest independent insurance broker networks whose members manage premium volumes in excess of $7 billion, has added six new international specialized service providers. “The new additions bring the total membership to 64 companies operating from 200 offices in more than 50 countries,” said the news bulletin.

BrokersLink made the announcement on the first day of its second annual global conference in Portugal, indicating that it “marks a significant expansion of the range of global services available to members. Previously only reinsurance partner Cooper Gay supported country-specific retail broker members on an international basis.”

The new members are:
— C.H. Toro International – specialist risk consultants specializing in kidnap, extortion and piracy.
— Rainmaker Group –self insurance mechanisms and alternative risk transfer solutions.
— Risk Solutions International – business continuity and disaster recovery planning and emergency and crisis management.
— Paragon Risk Engineering – risk engineering services.
— HERCO – risk engineering services.
— BDO – insurance claims services.

José Fonseca, Chairman of BrokersLink, commented: “Apart from Cooper Gay, BrokersLink’s membership previously consisted solely of retail brokers focused on building their businesses in their own countries.

“Now, I am delighted to announce that we are widening our coverage and range of specialized services with the addition of new members who will support members in any geographical location. These additional global services will be of considerable benefit to the network and are a significant step in the development of BrokersLink as a leading force in the international retail broking market.”
