I can’t agree more with the P.K. statement. Why are we as a world being so permissive and gutless to allow a few thugs to disrupt and hold hostage the world commerce and shipping. How many people are in jail in this and other countries for stealing a far lesser value article? And we do nothing to stop this kidnapping and thievery? Where is our common sense as a world. Every ransom paid says “come and get it, there’s more where that came from and we’re willing to pay it”. The lesson to be learned is that they will pay with their life, not that it is a profitable transaction. Come back John Wayne, we need you, and bring your guns.

The civilized world should be outraged that this has been allowed to continue. These 3rd world thugs are making a mockery out of the rest of the world. Every time a ransom is paid, it reinforces their behavior and maintains the profit motive. This latest payment of $20,000,000 to buy back their ship is sickening. The profit motive must be removed for this to stop. It may take refusal to pay and the sinking of a ship and or murdering of it’s passengers to get the world community’s attention. These animals need to be hunted down and killed. They have no rights anyone should respect. They forfeited them when they decided to commit piracy. An internationaly response team of mercenaries is in order to break this cycle. Track them down and eliminate them.

Enough already…international law or not…put contractors on ships, pay them well and blow them out of the water before they get on board.
