Tunnicliffe Rejoins Marsh to Head UK Risk Consulting

More musical chairs in London as Marsh announced that Andrew Tunnicliffe is to rejoin the firm as UK Head of Marsh Risk Consulting. He was previously a managing director at Marsh, before he moved to Aon Global Risk Consulting, where he has been for the over the past five years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer.

Tunnicliffe will join Marsh next year, succeeding Jeff Colburn, who will return to the US to take a senior role there in Marsh Risk Consulting. Martin South, CEO of Marsh UK, welcomed Tunnicliffe’s return. He stated: “With risk management an increasing concern of every boardroom in UK plc, it is no surprise that the work of Marsh Risk Consulting has grown and expanded.

“Through his proven track record of innovation, operational skills and teamwork, I am sure that Andrew will continue to grow our capabilities and help our clients manage their risk issues and support their success objectives.”

John Merkovsky, Global Head of Marsh Risk Consulting, added: “Our clients have risks that are now more globally interconnected than ever before. Having someone with the breadth of Andrew’s experience and expertise lead our UK team will be of great assistance to them.
