ACE Adds to Regional Team in UK

ACE Group in London announced a series of appointments within its UK and Ireland region.

Graeme McGeachie, currently London and South East corporate property and casualty underwriting manager, has been promoted to the position of London and South East regional manager for corporate. McGeachie will report to Phil Sharpe, chief operating officer UK and Ireland Retail, and will replace Jon Houghton, who will be taking on a new role.

Carolyn Hamilton and Jon Houghton will take up the newly created roles of development and distribution manager, UK and Ireland, also reporting to Sharpe. Houghton will focus on managing relationships with national brokers in the UK and Ireland and Carolyn will continue to focus on ACE’s relationships with key independent brokers and consolidators.

Louise Joyce, ACE Evolve product manager for corporate risks, has been promoted to client relationship manager for UK and Ireland. In this newly created role, she will work with brokers to ensure consistent delivery of service to existing clients and also develop new client relationships.

McGeachie has 20 years underwriting experience and has been with ACE since 2009 in the role of corporate property and casualty underwriting manager, Southern region.

Hamilton has experience in the regional insurance environment and in managing broker relationships. She joined ACE in 2011 as regional development manager.

Houghton joined ACE as regional manager for corporate risks, Southern region, in 2010 and was responsible for the overall performance of the region which covers London and the South East of England. Joyce has 12 years experience in the insurance industry and has been with ACE since 2005 and has been Evolve Product Development Manager for the past 2 years.
