    Once again while we have made tremendous inroads in technology it is still not capable of fully understanding or predicting
    Mother Nature- blame in on El Nino, La Nina, sandstorms, etc. The sad part is all of the policy holders that have been forced to pay higher insurance rates, capacity being reduced or having to purchase inferior products- all due to “models” that are inaccurate.

    I think the higher insurance rates may have more to do with the losses that insurers experience when hurricanes (like Sandy, mentioned in the article) destroy billions of dollars of property. But hey, it could be from what you said too…

    People who predict the stock market are often wrong. Therefore we should close the stock market and/or not allow forecasts of stocks and the stock market lol all that capitalist propaganda hot air.
