How many of these CEO’s have several giant homes, fleets of jets and cars & yet they demand action{meaning further job destroying taxes and fees}? What is their climate footprint and what are they personally doing to reduce it? How many of these CEO’s are from the large state supported industries in China and India that now have the largest growth and market share? Answer…very few!
Why are we being told to sacrifice when they are not and have no intention to do so!

Obama has the largest carbon footprint of all with AF1, the fleet of airplanes, vehicles, choppers plus the hot air coming out of his mouth at every opportunity.

        You people are beyond ignorant.

        http://www.livescience.com/44330-jurassic-dinosaur-carbon-dioxide.html

Deep denial is seeing a carbon rate 5 times lower than a high, and then saying the world is now in danger.

Climate change is not the biggest concern in the world, though it is a concern in general. We should do our best to be kind to the environment.

Putting on this facade of the world is ending, the sky is falling…

Now that is a show that is funny to watch liberals do.

Who will out liberal the last liberal in terms of what climate change will cause? I’m so excited to find out!

The Iraq war came out a lot better than say North Korea.

As for Iran, yes. Let’s “invade” Iran, shows all I need to know about you. Are you aware of the Iran position? The leader of the state tries to appear moderate, but he has been quoted as praying because he doesn’t want to eradicate the Jews, he prays for another even like WWII so he doesn’t have to eradicate Jews, because another event will do it for them. Invade Iran? Are you out of your mind? Iran has been trying for some time to destroy Israel.

            Moving on:

For Iraq, and I will repeat this again, Al Gore said to George HW Bush that we needed to go to war with Iraq. Then he condemned George HW for it. Then he backed Clinton’s bombing of Iraq, who has been a threat the whole time, and then he supported Bush W. Then he backed out when the media merited it for his political gain. The motives behind Iraq from republicans were pure. The motives behind democrats were: Votes. Sway of the public opinion.

You are correct that I don’t want the Iraq War to happen again, in terms of how much the democrats, and you, use it to profit in terms of young minds, leading them to believe republicans are evil for it.

            It makes me sick.

The reasons we went to Iraq were sound.

Get over it, child. And stop whining about it.

Hey Bob, they are beyond ignorant. They voted for Obama, some twice. Our Negotiator in Chief went to China and said the US would cut emissions 25% by 2020. The Chinese looked him in the eye and said they would “begin” to cut emissions by 2030. What a deal! China and India are by far the worst polluting countries in the world. How about getting them signed up to cut emissions starting right away! Good luck.

I don’t mean to burst your bubble or anything, but the China emissions with Obama has been an ongoing thing for some time now.

But yes, I do get your point. Voting for Obama isn’t always ignorance, it can sometimes be naivety. I focus on the ignorance here though, as the people here are not the type I consider to be naive, except for Stan who is both stupid and naive.

China would be a country that has some bad emissions, but even more than that, bad working conditions.

My father went there and they had worker’s using a blow torch without goggles or a protector of any sort.

It made many of them have severe eye issues.

My dad explained they could provide the protection gear, and the company that was manufacturing declined. They said why? The labor is cheap. Even if it was free it wouldn’t matter.

Now the true issue with China is how they treat their people. They are resilient workers and they are treated like crap.

Maybe we will have more 2012 movies, and world ending movies to indoctrinate kids…

Maybe another indoctrination documentary attempt video from Al Gore…

Oooo, perhaps a Michael Moore video?

Maybe a video about Obama praising his climate change bravery, to go along with that nearly unprecedented swinging video for Bush W.

Man oh man I can’t wait to see how the world will be destroyed by dem there republicans next time!

And I can’t wait to see what children they starve and what elderly they kill next!

I get the campaign emails. These are true statements from the democratic left.

And you think you’re watching a comedy?

You’re in insurance. Are you in sales? I know sales. All those lines don’t come from good politicians. They come from salesmen.

I literally heard a commercial out here trying to sound like a sales announcer,

Boy have we got a deal for you! Republicans are slashing teacher pay! Wah wah wah, but wait, they will likely get a pay increase! Duh duh duh!!!!

And the commercial goes on sounding completely over the top. Guess who sponsored the pay increase?

Oh please guess! Please! The only people in my state who have voted for lower pay for government officials is, ding ding ding, republicans! So the commercial doesn’t say WHO is doing the pay increase, but tries to link it to republicans.

And let’s not forget the commercial of a Paul Ryan look alike wheeling a granny off a cliff.

That is what we call bull crap, that should NEVER be in politics.

Where is my video of Obama doing that with Obamacare? Show me one!

bob, why would anyone think a teacher pay increase is a republican idea? Are the voters out there even less intelligent than “low information voters”?

Good luck on getting political ads to be less misleading (or even not lies). In KY there is a republican primary for governor, talk about vicious. These guys are truly beating each other up.

That strategy may or may not backfire in the general election since the democrat candidate doesn’t have to worry about the primary. (only one dem on the ballot for governor)

I agree with you about the bull crap in political advertising. I do my best not to watch the commercials.

KY, Republicans are far less vicious than Democrats in any election. When Wendy Davis ran in the last governor’s race in Texas, she accused the paraplegic Greg Abbott of faking it even though he has been that way for 20 years when a tree fell on him when he was jogging.

People don’t generally want to die. If republicans are evil, and smart enough to take power, they would be smart enough to save themselves. The motives don’t pan out. Which is it? Stupid, or evil?

And if stupid, how are they so rich buddy boy?

Moving on: Throughout history…Which tactic buys votes by the way?

Could it be, that democrats need a voting point?

Climate change is not an existential threat to society. Grow up.

It can be a problem for third world countries. It will not kill off the human species. We are still at lower carbon ratios than the dinosaurs. Can you explain why that would destroy the world, and yet make the world lush and tropical and just fine millions of years ago?

I see those things, but I don’t comment on them, because it is pointless.

We do affect the climate and should be careful. We just don’t affect it as much as liberals say. There is a middle ground we should try to attain.

            Liberals say too much.
Conservatives sometimes say too little and focus on volcanoes and natural sources.

We should focus on the middle, and what we can control without being a cronyism nation, and while helping the economy.

            Dave,

Pretty much every liberal here who has mentioned global warming has made the implication that republicans will kill humanity.

So you’re wrong on your first point.

Moving on to your second, the amount of change caused will be difficult for third world countries, but as I said before, we are well behind the amount that will be unmanageable.

Also, you neglect to weigh the options to control the climate. Every option so far, would harm people in equal ways in terms of being able to survive.

Setting goals for emissions requirements without the technology is obviously not going to work.

Fining companies or taxes will create cronyism, and I guarantee will result in more bad than good.

One form is subsidizing. Which is fine. But I don’t support someone then saying in order to subsidize, they want to bring up how unfair the tax rates are on big oil, and use it in an election to attack Romney (hint, Obama in one of the televised debates talking about how oil companies can afford to pay more and should pay more, and linking it to green energy subsidies as if the higher taxes pays for the energy subsidy and is impossible otherwise = cronyism.)

The other thing you need to ask, Agent, is “how many of those millions of legal abortions would’ve happened anyway, but behind closed doors and done in a non-sanitary manner?”

Personally 55 million abortions done in a sterile environment by actual physicians is better than 55 million abortions done with a wire coat hanger.

            Does that logic make sense?

            For Agent:

I agree. Abortions are a terrible thing. But, these guys actually have somehow convinced themselves they are doing a good thing. I hate abortion. I don’t hate abortionists.

            For Rosenblatt:

You believe that 55 million (it is actually closer to 60 million now, agent’s numbers are wrong) kids (the common age to have an unwanted pregnancy is 18-24, and yes, those are in our age people who don’t know very much, and are timid) would stick a coat hanger up their vagina (with no pain meds I might add) and would successfully kill a child?

I’m going to go with the pain and the risks would outweigh the will. You happen to just not know society though, and that is clear, as much as you claim us conservatives don’t. The amount of insanity you must have to state that 60 million people would still do a hangar abortion is insane.

By the way: Here are some numbers on that:

            http://www.abortionfacts.com/facts/12

Children would be saved by making abortions illegal. It is a matter of how many, and keeping track of illegal operations from doctors. Not keeping track of hangars.

For God’s sakes your comment was beyond ignorant, and I actually need to hear you admit it out loud to ever take you seriously again.

Moving on to a related point:

How many people will obey for example speed laws? You agree with those factors.

But hey, who will listen to them when fees hit?

How about cell phone laws? Those don’t actually save people right?

            People will just ignore it.

For some reason they won’t ignore those laws, but will ignore laws that give them extreme pain and risk death.

            Makes total sense motivation wise.

You have a much starker view on humanity to believe that than either Agent or I.

And just in case you liken a car crash to extreme pain and death, that is a risk.

In the case of a coat hangar abortion, extreme pain is an absolute, and death is a possibility as a result of the injuries sustained in the absolute.

The pain and possible infection happens every time.

We need to teach people that having kids is not the worst thing in the world.

Being sympathetic to abortion is exactly the opposite. You are telling them it is too hard and you entirely understand.

You know what my parents were told?

Shut up. I do understand. I lived before you. You don’t know anything new. Having a kid won’t ruin your world but take it seriously. Do your best. No excuses.

That is the way to be raised and allowing sympathy to the ability and need for abortions is not ok.

            Really Rosenblatt.

60 million. We only have 310 million people in the U.S.

This would literally mean you believe that nearly every single woman who got pregnant would be willing to use a hangar to kill a baby, if you are questioning how many would be saved. I would say 10% at an absolute, positively, totally, insane estimate. I actually think it would be more like 1%. Which would mean that even with the absolutely, positively, totally insane number, 6 million babies would still die, and 54 million would be saved, provided we made sure back alley doctor abortions were not happening.

I was not LITERALLY saying “if abortions are illegal, every single one will be done with a coat hanger instead.”

How’s this rephrasing: Personally, 55 million abortions done in a sterile and controlled environment is better than 1,000 abortions done in an unsanitary and uncontrolled setting on the black market which could jeopardize the health and well-being of all those involved.

I was just making a point. I wasn’t saying “we need more coat hangers in the future or else we’ll have a shortage for our shirts and pants because kids will using every single one available to kill their unborn child.”

My brother happens to be a PHD grad, from years back. I trust him on this.

            For two:

Why should I trust a liberal media who has motives to lie, and a science community who literally needs a research program to graduate, and needs that to continue to have a job?

            For three:

The details speak for themselves. I have read them. None of them are conclusive, and none of them are without error, or instead, failure to consider all variables.

            For four:

You just tried to use a study proving rich people are racist, and stupid.

            How ignorant are you?

There is no extensive study of the millions of millionaires.

And when it comes down to it, IQ isn’t a measure of intelligence, at least not the sole.

Small Business owners, who are the majority of the wealthy, are all smarter than non business owners.

Does your boss know how to run a business better than you? I can guarantee you my boss considers more factors than I do. Still to this date and I have made a lot of progress.

He’s in a different league, just like all business owners. Maybe in ten years I can catch up, but if I attached myself to a go to college, work my IQ, and get a job at a company, like at least 50% of population does, I would be an idiot regardless of my IQ score.

I knew algebra in kindergarten. Partly his doing.

But that isn’t what makes me smart. When I met my boss I was a whiz, but not a smart business person.

In other words: Yes. Humans cut down forests, and that causes thousands of extinctions.

We hunted buffalo, killed off tigers in some species, and every day we kill off more through forest cutting.

You linked two things as if they are in tandem. They are not.

We kill species. Climate change occurs.

Climate change is not causing species to die off at 1,000 times the rate of normal. Explain why a carbon rating 5 times lower than the Jurassic would suddenly cause huge extinctions whereas it caused lush environments back then? The amount per year is irrelevant, barring acid rain which is not common.

Non business owners think they are smarter, but have no clue on how to run a business, take the risks, pay the bills and succeed against their competitors. By the way, the business owners are heavily taxed and pay a lot of employment taxes on the non business owners. The result is that the US has the highest corporate rate in the world.

As a side note, the idiot State of California is suffering a big drought, however it could have been avoided if they had captured water in rivers that they permit to flow into the ocean. They are still trying to save the Delta Smelt fish. That dinky little fish is more important than human beings. The next proposal is that they build a pipeline to Washington State to get water. Will Washington State permit that?

Tell me Farmer, how many chickens have died in Iowa from bird flu? The last I heard, it was in the millions. Did Global Warming do that?

Your name is Farmer John due to bigotry, just like your extreme comment of “belief in an imaginary sky fairy”.

My belief in the “imaginary sky fairy” is due to things that happened in my life that are otherwise unexplainable.

It is better than your belief that everything popped out from nothing which always existed but was never created. Makes total sense doesn’t it?

So reality, who poisoned your mind growing up? Were you always like this or did it happen in college with some liberal professors? You have some disgusting habits of printing out a whole post of someone else before starting your own tirade. Ron is a lot like that as is Rosenblatt. Is it a Progressive thing or can’t you concentrate long enough to reply to someone?

WTF Agent? I thought we had a truce. You insulted me out of the blue for no reason. For the second time in as many days:

STOP DRAGGING MY NAME INTO CONVERSATIONS I AM NOT PARTICIPATING IN!!!

Sorry Rosenblatt. I was referring to your former mulit- paragraph statements where you would always start off by repeating mine and Bob’s posts. Perhaps you have kicked that habit now. By the way, reality is really out of control now with his multi paragraph rants. They take up a whole computer screen. I guess Bob and I have really stirred up his hornet’s nest. Too bad!

Thank you very much for your apology, Agent. I sincerely appreciate you saying that. Our truce is still on in my opinion :)

Stan, if you had been paying attention, I have criticized Bob on his long laborious posts and he pledged to try to do better. By the way, your attention span is severely lacking. Join the Army and be a man.

Reality, Bob and I have very good posts on most subjects. Progressive Socialist Environmentalists, not so much. Your brain has atrophied with all that liberal teaching and you only see the most extreme positions on any subject. I am sure you would go ape if you had to have a steady dose of Conservative teaching along with some common sense which is completely lacking at this point.
