Alesco Appoints Bragg to Lead Latin American Property Facultative Team

Alesco Risk Management Services*, the specialist insurance and risk management broker, announced Adam Bragg will be joining as head of the organisation’s Latin America Property Facultative team.

His primary focus will be developing business throughout Latin America, particularly in Peru, Chile, Mexico and Colombia. Bragg will be based in London and will report to Martin Emkes, chairman of Alesco, when he joins later in the year.

Bragg has over 25 years of industry experience and will be joining Alesco from Lockton, where he has been vice president of property, focusing on Latin American property business. Prior to this he was a principal at Integro Insurance Brokers and spent two years in the property division at Heath Lambert.

“In this challenging market environment clients are looking for more specific Latin American facultative capability, knowledge of the local market factors and of course language skills and that’s exactly what we’re providing,” said Martin Emkes, chairman of Alesco.

“We are moving Alesco into new product lines and have recently diversified our business offering by expanding our global property risks capability to take advantage of the opportunities in this class,” Emkes added.

“Adam is a fantastic hire for us. We are committed to investing in talented experts and his experience and understanding of the region make him the ideal person to lead our Latin American Property Fac team. This is a rapidly growing market, and I look forward to working with Adam to develop our presence in the region in conjunction with our partners.”
