Chubb announced that Bill Puleo has been appointed senior vice president, head of Custom Industry Solutions for Overseas General Insurance, the company’s international general insurance business, with immediate effect.
In his new role, Puleo will be responsible for leading the growth and expansion of Custom Industry Solutions, Chubb’s multi-line product and service offerings that combine underwriting, claims handling and loss prevention expertise to tailor insurance solutions.
These solutions are designed to address the unique and evolving exposures of specific industry segments, such as information technology, life sciences, clean technology, entertainment and real estate, across international markets, Chubb said in a statement.
Puleo will be based in London and report to Timothy O’Donnell, chief operating officer, Commercial Property & Casualty, Overseas General Insurance.
Puleo has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to ACE’s acquisition of the Chubb Corp. in January 2016, Puleo served as senior vice president of international property underwriting at Chubb and has held various underwriting management positions throughout his career.
