I guess all autos now need a “cone of silence” installed, so the driver can focus on driving, and not be “distracted” by anyone else riding in the auto……?
Hey Barb- How bout rereading the article. People in the car were the least distracting to the driver when compared to phones. Hand held or hand free, Coming from a person that lost a spouse to a driver on hands free taking directions and doing exactly what the person on the other end told him to do. The other person neglected to tell the driver to look before making the immediate u-turn or to get in the proper lane. Or to make sure there was not a person coming in the lane you were about to illegally cross….. How about staying off phones in the car and driving!
