MS Amlin’s Rayner Joins Pioneer Underwriters as Group Director of Underwriting

Pioneer Underwriters announces that Graeme Rayner has commenced his role as group director of underwriting, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Darren Doherty.

Rayner, whose appointment was first announced in August 2016, joins from MS Amlin where, prior to Mitsui Sumitomo’s acquisition of Amlin, he served as chief underwriting officer of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Underwriting Ltd. and as active underwriter of MSIG’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 3210. Doherty commented: “Graeme will play a pivotal role in executing Pioneer’s strategy of international growth built through leveraging our first class business infrastructure and high quality underwriting talent. It is a pleasure to have him on board.”
