Arthur J. Gallagher Taps JLT’s Boyle & Ollerenshaw for Credit & Political Risks Team

Arthur J. Gallagher has appointed industry stalwarts Rupert Boyle and Nick Ollerenshaw as executive directors, aiming to deepen its specialist capabilities in credit and political risks insurance.

They report to Mark Gubbins, managing director of the specialist Structured Credit & Political Risks practice and are based in London.

Boyle and Ollerenshaw both join from JLT and bring over 45 years’ experience to Gallagher. They will develop business “with a particular emphasis on structured corporate and trade finance, protection of assets and investments, counterparty and performance risk,” the company said in a statement.

“In the current geopolitical environment, structured credit & political risks insurance is increasingly important…,” said Mark Gubbins, managing director of the Structured Credit and Political Risks practice. “Rupert and Nick are well-respected market practitioners; their experience complements our existing offering and strengthens our ability to find solutions that go beyond transactional broking. They have proven track records of providing entrepreneurial, market-leading solutions to clients and I am looking forward to further developing our offering while expanding our broad client base.”
