No more wasted money on fake data and fake research intended to control people and collect more taxes, fines, and related penalties that adversely impact our freedom to choose. And less of a drag on our economic growth; e.g. Solyndra, etc. subsidized by tax dollars.
Then I presume you also support ending all of the massive subsidies we give to the fossil fuel industry?
How ironic you use the name Polar Bear. Our kids might only be able to see them in BBC Earth documentaries.
If you’re going to stick your head in the sand, at least do it in south Florida.
We already have the technology available to eliminate coal. The markets are naturally rapidly moving in that direction. We should not look back. Wind and solar are the future. Burning cancerous rocks is not.
The fossil fuel industry isn’t subsidized as much as the GREENIE industry.
But, yes, those that can survive will thrive after subsidies are removed. Those that cannot will be replaced by more efficient firms in the fossil fuel industry.
Do YOU support ENDING subsidies to The GREENIE Industrial Complex?
Ice ages come & go. Warming periods come & go. That’s the natural cycle of this planet and cannot be denied. All of the King’s horses and all of the King’s men will not change that. Yes, we can make environmental concessions but we cannot change the broad brush of environmental cycles which take thousands of years and which will happen despite the Chicken Little’s who are pushing global warming. Our efforts are as equally a drop in the bucket as are our personal years in relation to the age of the planet. We should stop convincing ourselves that this is for the good of our children and future generations. Bull. This is merely another Quixotic trip that the US is laying on itself in the realm of Mother Nature. We are not the world’s environmental policeman.
If Trump on day one withdraws the US from the Paris treaty it will take four years for the US to actually leave. If he does this, it trigger many counteractions around the world as many countries depend on US and China as the two biggest polluters to be part of the treaty.
Trump needs to be liked – part of his insatiable need for approval.
Trump will never be liked by the loonie libbies; e.g. current violent, illegal protests. No need to try to persuade any of his supporters that he needs to move toward the center ‘to be liked’. POTUS is a thankless job which he said he will do for $1 salary a year.
What! No mention of Obama’s agreement to allow China to build new coal-burning plants for the next 25 years. But each one only has a 40 to 45 year life. The emissions we eliminate will be a drop in the bucket compared to the emissions the new Chinese plants will pour into the environment. I don’t think Trump’s wall will stop the Chinese pollution from entering out atmosphere.
Build another wall – – – around Global Warming Alarmists. Let them talk trash among themselves while the rest of us devote our time, money, and efforts toward productive endeavors.
On perhaps unrelated news, Trump sent Chris Christie away from his Tower of Power, perhaps dismissing him from the Transition Team. In fact, it is now headed by Mike Pence.
But, I wonder if Trump merely sent Christie out for a few boxes of Krispy Creme donuts, and Christie hasn’t returned yet? Perhaps there is a reasonable explanation for Christie’s absence? Maybe he got stuck in traffic, near a bridge?
Points for DePolar, that was funny! Trump did well to get Christie out of the picture, at least for now. For a while, I thought Christie was going to be the real deal when he became guv of NJ. He seemed to do a pretty good job cleaning up the place, but then ended up doing what he campaigned against…despite what he’s said, there’s no way he wasn’t aware of Bridgegate (at least responsible for creating the culture which led to it), and it’s sad that 2 people are taking the fall for him. He is now one of the most unpopular governor’s in Jersey’s history, which says a lot.
Dear liberal rejects,
The sick room at the end of the hall is not, repeat not, considered a safe space. You are not allowed to blow bubbles, color or pet cats in this room. If this is to difficult for you to understand, you have options. 1) leave, 2) join the wave or 3) leave. Also, the complaint box has been removed since we are tired of your sad, poor me attitudes.
Hooray!

PS I’m not sticking my head in the sand. But it seems you’ve stuck your head in a part of Al Gore’s anatomy that we can’t discuss in civil discourse.
RIP Solyndra and all others of that GREEN ilk.
Drain the ‘Greenies’ Swamp!
Hooray! The Keystone XL pipeline will be resurrected again!
If they build it, they will come … to see much lower prices at the gas stations!
Warren Buffet’s trains carrying crude oil will be much emptier in the near future.
This conservative feels man’s impact on climate change, which is unquestionably cyclical and also influenced by other forces, is real.
If we’re going to be wrong on one side of this issue, I’d just as soon we be wrong in a way that doesn’t irreparably harm the ecology of the planet.

China has been given decades to comply.
What sense does your post make now?
