Chubb Promotes Samuel as Head of Power & Utilities for Asia

Chubb has appointed Titus Samuel as the new head of Power and Utilities for Asia. Samuel will be based in Singapore and will report to Mick Peacock, head of Power and Energy for Asia Pacific.

Prior to his new appointment, Samuel was Chubb’s Power Risk Engineer for Asia, a position he has held for seven years. A mechanical engineer by training, he has undertaken extensive risk management work on operational facilities and construction projects across a broad spectrum of power generation, oil & gas as well as petrochemical facilities in the Asia Pacific region. Before pursuing a career in the insurance industry, he spent seven years in power plant commissioning with Alstrom Power Generation.

On Samuel’s appointment, Peacock said, “Power generation continues to be a pivotal component of our technical lines portfolio. Titus has extensive technical capabilities and experience in the energy industry as well as success in building strong relationships with clients and brokers. He will be an invaluable asset as we continue to drive and grow our Power Gen portfolio in Asia.”
