It’s easy to forecast rate increases, especially for property exposed to Nat Cat losses. But projection of flood risk premiums is difficult to assess without definitive knowledge of how the NFIP will be changed in its renewal by Congress.

Polar, I will stick by my prediction of substantial rate increases in the new year. Some, including you said there was too much capital in the market. Sorry Bear, you will be seeing it and re-insurers rates will be reflected in the retail rates both in Commercial and Personal Lines. FACT!
