Tokio Marine Kiln Taps Jomaa from CFC as Cyber Underwriter

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), the London-based provider of specialist and corporate insurance, has appointed Alex Jomaa as cyber underwriter. He takes up the role immediately and will report to Laila Khudairi, head of enterprise risk in London.

Jomaa joins from CFC Underwriting where he was cyber liability underwriter and was responsible for underwriting a worldwide cyber portfolio. He was involved in the development of new cyber products and the delivery of training sessions to brokers and underwriting teams, which aimed to build understanding about cyber insurance. He began his insurance career as a broker at Lothbury UK where he placed professional indemnity and directors & officers (D&O) liability risks for commercial and financial institutions.

“Alex has established himself as one of the rising stars in the London cyber insurance market. He brings to the role a proven ability to build leading, profitable books of business, develop innovative new products and has demonstrated a commitment to providing exceptional client service,” Khudairi said.

“At TMK, we are committed to providing insureds with comprehensive coverage for intangible risks such as cyber, reputational risk and intellectual property,” she added.
