‘Combining’ countries into an EU, to share their wealth more evenly, ALWAYS results in wealthier countries losing and poorer countries winning. This former UK Lloyd’s Chairman thinks such Socialist policies generate greater wealth for the UK, whereas that might be opposite of the truth, per the votes of many more UK citizens who supported Brexit for greater prosperity. As a corollary, any country whose political leaders think joining / remaining in the EU, must implicitly believe their country is inferior to others in/ joining the EU, and thus joining / remaining in the EU will increase its wealth and quality of life.
