Ill. Assurance Agency Is Sponsor for 2006 Business Association Expo

Assurance Agency Ltd., headquartered in Schaumburg, Ill., will be the presenting sponsor at the Schaumburg Business Association Expo held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006.

“We are anxious to become an active participant in the growing Schaumburg business community. Our involvement in this Expo is meant to help support that growth and make sure businesses as well as residents of Schaumburg learn about Assurance and the value we bring to this community,” says Assurance President Anthony Chimino. Chimino will be introducing the keynote speaker for this year’s Expo and will also be speaking at an upcoming Schaumburg Business Association seminar later this month.

Assurance relocated its headquarters last October from Rolling Meadows to the One Century Centre building on Golf Road in Schaumburg. Assurance Marketing and Communications Director, Steven Handmaker, noted “Our close proximity to the new Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center is exciting for all Assurance employees. We are really looking forward to the many opportunities that will be brought to Schaumburg by the new convention center.”

The company release said that over the past six years Assurance’s workforce has tripled in size. The company offers numerous career opportunities and room for advancement at all levels. As the company expects this growth trend to come, Assurance is hoping that participating in the Expo will also encourage new local candidates to apply. Earlier in 2006, Assurance was named by the National Association for Business Resources as one of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in Chicagoland.
