The paper is thicker in two spots so the cigarette will go out when it hits that area? What if it is on a flammable material in between those spots?

Try it yourself. Light the cigarette and then see if it goes out on its own. I tried two cigarettes…left them to burn on their own…and they burned down to the filter.

    Great law, if it worked.

Yes it does! I was wondering why my cigs were going out all the time. Now I know!
