Congradulations are in order for Kody and it is sad that a few pathetic underwriters are venting their furstrations like this for everyone to see!
Dan and U/W Warriors, obviously you have struggled competiting with AMIC and you are simply venting – good for you but sad for your employer as you should use your company time and energy underwriting and booking business.
SmithPete, your simply a liar and should not be allowed to post crap like this! You probably do not even have a job!
Actually I have no problem competing with Austin Mutual, as I was able to internally rewrite my whole book with them quite easily. They were a great company 10 years ago, but poor management caused them to fall behind the competition in credit scoring models=terrible loss ratios. I’m surprised you seem to be taking this to heart–maybe you are involved in Austin Management?
Nope. Just a policyholder who understands business – unlike yourself. AMIC has been a great company for over 110 years and will continue to be a great company for many years to come. Best of luck to you as obviously you need it!
Sorry to say that this is not going to do anything for this sinking ship!
I would concur with that statement. Coop Mutual has reputation for underpricing entire book….not an account.
I would concur with that statement Dan. We have been underpricing our entire book for years…..not just an account here or there, but a book.
It’s really too bad, as they are a nice company to do business with–just lagging too far behind.
