    I read the other article also & it seems to me that the fatalities arose out of a plane crash, not wing-walking itself. Kinda skews the thought process the way it was presented.

    Since the NTSB report won’t be out for years, here’s what I see. From the start, the plane is losing altitude. The pilot enters the roll with nose up attitude, not level. This decreases airspeed and altitude. He commences a slow roll. With wings perpendicular to ground, there is NO lift, just gravity, further decreasing altitude. At 34 sec. He aborts the maneuver and dooms them both.
