I spent 5 days in the hospital with egg induced salmonella in late June 2010. Is there any compensation to reimburse my bills? Where does the fine money go? I received several calls from the state health dept. at the time so they know the details.

Very interesting that the article did not mention that any action had been taken against the Dept of Agriculture inspector that accepted the bribes from the two egg cowboys. If true, the government employee – having been charge with protecting the American public – should do some real hard time.

I’d bet the feds fired the inspector and took no further action against him, deciding to save their resources and go after the real bad guys like ranchers in Wyoming, homeowners, speeding commuters on U.S. highways, and Martha Stewart . . . LOL . . .
