Wait a sec. The client wanted male drivers. The business did not discriminate, the client did. Why should a business have to hire anyone when there is no job for them? This makes no sense at all. Unless these women showed in court that the company could have switched them with men handling other clients or something like that, there was NO discrimination here on the part of the company. From the article it says drivers were hired specifically for this guy. Yes, the company screwed up by hiring women for this job in the first place, but complying with the wishes of the client is not discrimination.
If everything is so wonderful in Saudi Arabia, why didn’t he get treated there instead of the Mayo Clinic? Would not have been a problem with drivers in that case.
