It is about freaking time these nutjobs pay up. Sad to have people that buy into these radical conspiracy theories and support them….even at the highest level of government with people that have great and unmatched wisdom.
100% agree, Cal…conspiracy theories like this (and others like the whole “Deep State” BS) and people who support and spread them are absolutely dangerous. I only wish they could’ve got more money..
$450K, that’s it? Tramp re-tweets this kind of rhetoric all the time. Dude loves Alex Jones and Infowars. If the “president” of the US is promoting this type of messaging, the payout should be a lot more than $450k.
You’re upset that he’s bringing up facts. Just pointing that out. You like your president’s crazy tactics you just don’t like being reminded of them in public?
I gotta side with FFA on this one…he’s a good, solid dude. I don’t always agree with everything he says and I’m sure he doesn’t always agree with me, but at the end of the day he’s good people.
Hope all is well, FFA!

I was merely defending CP, I didn’t find anything wrong with his post. I wouldn’t agree that I’m a bully while defending someone else, sorry you don’t like what he has to say but I think his points were valid. Maybe I made assumptions about why he didn’t like CP’s post, but I did ask and leave the floor open to him to explain.

Jon, Caps a big boy. He dont need anyone to defend him.
Thanks to every one that came to my support.
Well it was also my opinion. I share CP’s criticisms and I didn’t think he did anything wrong!

Serious question – What is protected by Freedom of Speech and what isn’t? I completely understand the author of the book is a conspiracy whacko, but what made him lose the lawsuit? Was it because he stated his beliefs as facts? Is it true that if one of these nutjobs says this is only their opinion, they cannot be sued? I heard someone on the radio say that is the case, but I have no idea how the law actually works in a case such as this.
The court found the statements published “were false or with reckless disregard for the truth or falsity of the statements.”
Keep in mind this is a civil case. He’s not facing criminal charges which is what the first amendment protects you from in the US. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. If I ran an ad about my competitors with false information, I can get sued, but I won’t go to prison.

Just cant help yourself can you? Trump wasn’t even mentioned and here you go again.

Do you treat others like this IRL when their political views differ from yours? Why so spiteful? FYI, he’s your president too “LOL”
Btw, FFA has always been respectable and fair with their comments. You could learn a lot from them, jOn. Just pointing that out.
I dont get upset over comments on this site. Amused… Sure. Upset. Never.
So, if your looking to provoke an argue with me, aint gonna happen.
LOL jOn, you’re just a bully. Grow up.
FFA has always been incredibly fair and respectful on here, you could learn a lot from them.
