    Iowa Agent says:
    Like or Dislike:
    Thumb up 0
    Thumb down 0

As an Iowa agent who lives in CR. The city and state were very slow to react to this disaster. There is a whole apartment building with tenants living in tents next to a building with no running water or electricity. There were senior apartment buildings with no electricity for days and no one was checking on these elderly folks. This was a bipartisan disaster. I have seen failures from both sides of the aisle. Local business have stepped up to feed hundreds of citizens day after day. The linesmen have worked around the clock to put the power back on. They are true heroes. Much of the damage is insured but there will be need for help for individuals to get many back living versus surviving. All this on top of COVID19.
