Travelers Launches 2000 Ad Campaign

Travelers Insurance has begun airing its new television advertising campaign as part of the company’s continued focus on the importance of its relationship with customers and independent agents. The five spots each focus on the breadth of insurance product available under the Travelers’ umbrella, including auto, homeowners, annuities and business insurance.

The inherent theme, presented in a light-hearted manner, is that Travelers policyholders need not worry about insurance, because Travelers affords them peace of mind. Shot in a refined black and white style, the only color appears in the form of the familiar red umbrella as it emerges on screen at the conclusion of each spot. Accompanying the company’s symbol and title is a tag encouraging the viewer to “Contact a Travelers Independent Agent.”
