National Grange Mutual Chooses Docucorp to Improve Agent Productivity

Docucorp®, a provider of enterprise information solutions, announced National Grange Mutual (NGM) Insurance Co. will license its enterprise publishing solutions as part of the beginning phase of the NGM “Systems Replacement Project” orchestrated to improve agent communication, access and productivity, as well as deliver greater claims functionality.

“NGM believes that the independent agent is the public’s choice for providing insurance,” Joel Gelb, NGM’s chief information officer, commented. “They are our only channel for delivering our product. We’re launching a comprehensive initiative designed to increase our independent agents’ productivity by significantly streamlining their transaction processing through automation and integrated network access to NGM via the Internet. Docucorp’s automated publishing solutions will help us to deliver applications, letters, policies and other business critical documents to our agents real-time via the web. It will also play a key role in document production needed to further automate our claims processes.”

A platform and device independent architecture enables Docucorp’s solution to seamlessly integrate with future phases of NGM’s new insurance systems.

“Docucorp’s publishing solution will bring NGM’s agents immediate access to ACORD and company specific applications via the web, while laying the foundation for additional functionality in future phases of NGM’s productivity initiative,” William D. Barry, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Docucorp, added. “Additionally, because our solution has the unique flexibility to integrate with systems across the enterprise, we’re helping NGM leverage investments it is making in its Systems Replacement Project.”
