MedSolutions, a provider of radiology management solutions, announced the launch of a new line of services designed expressly to meet the imaging needs of the workers’ compensation and auto liability markets.
“Both the workers’ compensation and auto liability markets are a natural fit for MedSolutions,” says Jim Phifer, executive vice president. “By leveraging our core radiology management competencies through a very operationally efficient process, we believe we are poised to deliver superior customer service and demonstrable cost savings. Our target is to deliver tremendous value to payors, a good deal beyond what is currently offered in today’s marketplace.”
The new services are centered on MedSolutions’ nationwide network of freestanding imaging facilities, which extends into 40 states and Washington, D.C. The company will deliver cost savings to customers through aggressive PPO network discounts, while increasing administrative efficiency through the rapid scheduling of imaging procedures for patients. MedSolutions is also bringing new services to the sector, including expert radiology consultation and extensive reporting capabilities.
