DriverShield, ClaimsNet Form Alliance

Florida-based DriverShield Corp. has entered into an exclusive strategic partnership agreement with ClaimsNet, Inc. an affiliate of The CEI Group, Inc., under which ClaimsNet, operating as CEI’s Insurance Services Division, will help manage and further develop DriverShield’s Internet-based collision repair and claims management business with auto insurance companies.

Privately held ClaimsNet, together with CEI Fleet Services, are leading independent providers for automotive claims outsourcing and are based in Trevose, Pa. ClaimsNet operates a call center that manages automotive claims solutions for property and casualty insurers, and CEI services many of the nation’s largest corporate fleets. Service coverage has been provided throughout the United States and Canada since 1993.

“This partnership will benefit both ClaimsNet and DriverShield, and our customers,” Barry Siegel, chairman and CEO of DriverShield, remarked. “Combining the resources of both companies will make the present internet-based CRM system, which we developed, an even more attractive claims management solution for the marketplace. ClaimsNet will also be able to offer present and future customers the benefits of our DriverShield Automotive Discounts and Services program, which we already provide to our CRM customers. DriverShield will gain immediate financial relief from the heavy burden of bearing all the costs involved in future technology developments, marketing and operating our CRM business.”

Under the agreement, ClaimsNet will provide the customer service and processing support of our Internet-based solution, host the web site, and provide licensing revenue to DriverShield.
