Specific Software Solutions has developed QuickLossPick.com, a web-based analytical tool for quickly generating workers’ compensation loss picks for risk management purposes.
“Choosing a loss pick for a client or for your own organization is often done without a solid analytical basis,” Tim Coomer, president of the company, said. “For those times when direct actuarial input is not critical, QuickLossPick.com allows you to put away your crystal ball, so to speak, and instead employ a sound analytical foundation for selecting a loss pick.”
QuickLossPick.com follows the company’s implementation of QuickMod.com, an online workers’ compensation experience rating analysis tool. “QuickLossPick.com and QuickMod.com don’t replace our PC-based software products,” Coomer said, “but they give our clients a dimension of flexibility in being able to do certain analytical tasks even more quickly and from any PC, such as a client’s office.”
QuickLossPick.com is now being made available to all of Specific Software’s corporate subscribers and to individual licensees of the company’s Loss Forecaster software. Like Loss Forecaster, QuickLossPick.com is supported by the company’s actuarial division, SIGMA Actuarial Consulting Group.
