Nationwide Boatowners Program Topic of April 3 AAIS Web Seminar

Property/casualty insurers interested in insuring privately owned watercraft can sign up for a Web-based seminar Thursday, April 3, on the Boatowners Program offered by the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS).

The AAIS Boatowners Program is the nation’s only standardized program of forms and rating information for insuring small, privately owned watercraft. As a standardized program, it is filed and approved in most states and available for use by licensed insurers.

The Boatowners Program can be used to endorse watercraft coverage onto a personal lines policy, or to insure personal watercraft with an individual policy.

The Boatowners Web seminar will begin 10 a.m. Central time (11 a.m. Eastern) on Thursday, April 3 and feature commentary by two AAIS staff members:

*Susan Luecke, director of personal lines; and
*Jeff Holaway, manager of personal lines pricing.

Participants in the seminar will be able to see the seminar exhibits and hear the commentary over their own computers and telephones. They will also have an opportunity to pose questions.

The seminar is open free of charge to staff members of all property/casualty insurance companies, whether they are currently affiliated with AAIS or not.

To sign up for the seminar and receive your passwords, go to www.AAISonline.com and click on the link at the top of the page.
