AICP Offers Scholarships for Industry Students

The Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) has a primary objective of fostering learning opportunities for the insurance compliance community.

In support of this objective, AICP is offering three $1,000 scholarships annually to selected individuals in an effort to further insurance education, and to encourage and support students who have an interest in insurance as a career. The scholarships are available to AICP members and members’ children and grandchildren. The scholarships are available for undergraduate studies or graduate studies and are for tuition and fees only.

An applicant must have completed the first year and one semester of the second year in an accredited educational institution, and have declared their major course work to be in the field of insurance, risk management, or mathematics (with an actuarial emphasis). A graduate student who is working towards an MBA in insurance, risk management, or mathematics (with an actuarial emphasis) is also eligible. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA at time of application of at least 2.75.

Eligible candidates will be selected based upon Grade Point Average; involvement in extra-curricular activities, and; level of educational interest and dedication to the insurance industry.
