APPEX to Hold Executive Symposium Oct. 20-22

October 7, 2004

Agency Peak Performance EXchange (APPEX) will hold its biannual Executive Symposium for Performance (ESP) on Oct. 20-22 in Cleveland, Ohio. About 200 insurance professionals are expected to participate.

Differentiation is the central theme of the Fall 2004 ESP. The content of the meeting is centered on defining and delivering value-added services that will set agencies apart from their competitors. APPEX Partners will learn what they need to be successful in the pending soft market and how they can create unique distinctions between themselves and their competitors.

The symposium will feature seven individual workshops for group benefits managers and producers. Topics ranging from sales management to a group benefits roundtable discussion will be offered.

Attendees will also participate in “Mentor Group” and “12 PAX” meetings. During Mentor Group sessions, agency owners learn strategic solutions from MarshBerry staff and their fellow APPEX Partners who serve as mentors. 12 PAX groups provide a recurring “Board of Directors” where participants share their strengths, discover their weaknesses and develop action plans for improvement.
